(4th circle ThoomCare Healer)

achievements and events of note:
1.) Exiled in the Autumn of 541.
Much
confusion as I try to adjust to this new land. ![]()
2.) First notable act in Puddleby...
Threw away my club and swore to never take a life and to this day I have
followed
that path -- I have never harmed nor taken the life of any creature!![]()
3.) Became a Healer.
What
other choice could possibly make any sense to me? ![]()
4.) On Soldi, the 16th Day of Winter, 543
became a member of:

I'm proud to
be a member of such a noble gathering of healers. ![]()
5.) Passed the Second Circle Healers Test on:
Fordi, the 15th Day of Spring, 543.
Lessons
learned in this test will, I hope, make me a more able healer. ![]()
6.) Passed the Third Circle Healers Test on:
Terrdi, the 65th of Autumn, 545.
I
gather strength and skill... ![]()
7.) Soon after passing 3, I finally acquired a used SunStone
through the generosity of Shiner!
My path tends to lead me to poverty... my only regret is that
in
poverty the tools and advance library knowledge I desire are out of my grasp.

8.) Recently, I've acquired a Caduceus through
the
combined generosity of the fighters Sir
Hunk and Lord Zeitgeist.![]()
9.) Just received a brand new SunStone... passed to me by Paramedic, the head of ThoomCare.
(It belonged to Aldynes, who is leaving the lands for unknown parts.) ![]()
10.) Much luck was visited upon me when I recently found a bundle of reeds, a
component for a musical instrument. I managed to sell these reeds (although my
natural inclination was to give them away) for 1k which
will be spent in one of the pay libraries! (A delicious extravagance from the
well worn and somewhat plebeian books in the Healer's Hall Library.)
11.) Passed the 4 Circle Healers test on Merdi, Day 44 of Winter 549. I was very eager
to don my new 4th circle healer's pants (again, a gift from a fighter friend) and to
explore the new areas of the Healer Hall. I spoke briefly with Virgil and got to admire
the
wonderful Mercurial Caduceus (I have to admit I'd love to try one of those!)
![]()
12.) Again, through the combined generosity of the fighters Sir Hunk and Lord Zeitgeist
I now have a Mercurial Caduceus!

Now that I've passed the 4th Circle Healers test, it's back to studies with Proximus
and Spiritus. I'd love to be starting my studies with Virgil... but, I doubt if I'll ever
be able to afford the 10k for the Healer's Pendant (unless there is much generosity in
the
lands, which is how I finally got my Caduceus and a fully charged SunStone.)

Training continues... I now have the new trainer, Sprite on Toes.
Higgy, Faustus and Proximus are telling me it is Hard To Find more to teach me
(they are too kind, really they are) and Respa telling me that
Teaching me has Taught her much. But I must now take a break and begin
the serious study of how to make Luminescent Salve now that my friend, Zeitgeist
has contracted the vile disease (while on a trip to K I to collect Eggs to cure
other victim's of the Horrid Lfye Disease! Such Irony!) Once I have completed my
training I shall offer my services for free to any who bring me the ingredients to make
this Salve (Lyfe Fur, Catsbane, a Scarmus Egg and a bottle of water.)

Now... Back to my study with Proximus!
My range is starting to be what I consider 'effective' but I shall not be finished until
I can reach to any fallen I can see!!! Then it shall be back to my Spiritus studies.

Taking a bit of time off from my healing to develope my artistic skills!
( Plus, I hear there might be some kind of a prize -- I've always wanted a Perg Pendant...
so who knows, I might be a lucky Thoom and get a bit closer to the goal. )
Here is a picture of my painting as I worked at it on my easel.

300 lessons with Proxi... it's a bit of a draw on my resources
but I find I can Heal those who are not in my line of sight!! I wonder how
much further I should take my training? If I knew where the training to
acquire a ledger might be... perhaps I'd continue on to that level but I
don't wish to Over Train one skill only to have a ledger, that would almost
be in violation of my creed.

My latest studies have concentrated upon the teaching of Sespus. I've found
that the burst heal is quite useful on many levels: First, for quickly returning the
health of a fighter taking massive blows from a foe. Second, for quickly healing
someone fallen (and perhaps a bit of showing off on healing the newer exiles.)
And Third, to allow the healing of two exiles at once, the one being cadded and
the one next to me I can bump into to burst heal (although this really taxes
my Respa abilities and as soon as I have my burst to a point that makes me happy
I'll return to some Respa training before getting back to my old friend, Proximus.

A brief update on my Alchemy skills:
I've added 7 colours of paint to my knowledge of;
RHP (Red Healing Potion,) TP (Tyken Potion,)
and Luminescent Salve.
If you have a need just ask and I'll try to make something up for you.

I still dream of owing a Perg-Pendant. Two fighters, Sir Hunk and Lord Zeitgeit
have offered to match each other for the cost of getting me one. I understand they
have a bit of a riverlery and have been trying to out do each other on donating
logs and stones (I've heard Zeitgeist is ahead by a small margin.) This has not
been the first time these noble fighters have help me afford the tools of my trade.
Thanks to both of them!!!

I've finally completed my training to use my Perg-Pendant... 50 ranks! I still wonder
as to the wisdom to spend so many ranks on this tool when the effort could have been
placed into a more useful line of study. I guess we must look at the advantages and not
second guess our training path. There must be a reason this tool became available to me.
